If you are wanting to set up a broadcast you either need to; select their name from the list of users (just note their name will not appear on this list unless they have logged into Vault BI at some point) or;
type their email address in manually.
If you decide to type the email address in manually, then you will need to ensure your Distribution settings are set up accordingly. By default, the 'Email & Broadcast Security' is set to 'All Users', this means that email addresses that have been manually typed in will not receive these emails.
To change this, you will need to edit your report, upon clicking save, you will need to click the Distribution tab, at the bottom of this window there is an option for 'Email & Broadcast Security'; you will need to change this to 'Unsecure'. This will allow the report to send to static email addresses.
Ensure that the Email setting remains "on", as below:
This is an additional security feature that was enabled with the update of Vault BI.
Adding an Email Address as a Recipient to a Broadcast
1. Open the report you wish to schedule a broadcast for.
2. Click the Broadcast option from the top menu
3. Create New > Broadcast
4. Type the email address into the 'Recipients' bar and press the Enter Key.
