Key changes
Multiple supervisors for Workers, Contractor Workers and Events
A Worker (or Contractor Worker, if your Safety system has the relevant feature enabled) or an Event can now have multiple Supervisors.
If your Safety system is a standalone one (not integrated with EPP), you can use the new multiselect control that replaced the old single-select one to select the Supervisors. For integrated Safety systems, the Supervisor data comes from EPP and cannot be modified in Safety.
Any existing Supervisor data has been preserved during this transition.
Link from a Worker/Contractor Worker in Safety to their EPP profile
In integrated Safety systems, much of the details related to Workers and Contractor Workers is managed in EPP. To allow a Safety user to easily navigate to a Worker's/Contractor Worker's EPP profile, we have added a link to the Damstra ID field in the Worker Details / Contractor Workers Details tab.
Syncing Key Appointments from EPP to Safety
In a Worker record in Safety, the Key Appointment section in the Worker Details tab lists the Worker's appointments that define that Worker's eligibility to take certain roles in Safety. For example, a Worker can only be assigned as an Investigator for Events if they have a "Designated Investigator" key appointment.
With this release, the key appointments will come into Safety from EPP, where they will be controlled via the appropriate skills. The ability to change key appointments in Safety will be removed because EPP is the source of truth for these.
Some data that is managed in EPP is not accessible in Safety
To avoid double handling of data and make sure that EPP is the source of truth for it, the following screens and sections that are available in a standalone Safety system will not be available when Safety is integrated with EPP:
- Worker/Contractor Worker Details:
- Details tab:
- Add Job Description field
- Passport button
- Governance tab
- Inductions tab
- Licences tab
- Training tab
- Medical tab
- Contact Details tab
- Related tab
- Details tab:
- Operational Dashboards related to inductions, licences, trainings and medicals.
- Standard reports related to inductions, licences, trainings and medicals.
- VQUAL screen.
- Skill Matrix screens.
