The options available to users within the Induction, Licences and Medical Lists have previously been open for all users to edit.
With the release of Vault 7.8.1, this edit function has been moved to the settings area and access can now be "Allowed" or "Restricted" via the user group profiles. i.e. User group profiles can be "restricted" from or "allowed" edit functionality from within the User Group Profiles, found in the Settings Menu. The following procedure will explain how.
Update User Group Profile
1. From your Settings menu:
Select User Group Profiles.
2. From the resulting Edit Groups Pop-Up:
Select the appropriate Access Group.
Click Edit Group Access.
3. From the resulting User Authorization Groups Pop-Up.
Expand the Edit Menu.
Scroll to Inductions, Licenses or Medicals.
IF - Access is to be "Allowed":
Click each "X" to the left of Inductions, Licenses and Medicals until it displays as "W".
IF - Access to Add New is to be "Restricted":
Click each "W" to the left of Inductions, Licenses and Medicals until it displays as "X".
4. The users will then have to:
Logout and Login again.
5. The Result:
IF - Access to Edit the lists is "Allowed":
The Inductions, Licences and Medicals options will appear in the users settings menu.
IF - Access to Edit the lists is "Restricted":
The Inductions, Licences and Medicals options will NOT appear in the users settings menu.
