A session is the period of time in which an activity/job is undertaken. For the duration of this session, a worker can be monitored and tracked from within Solo Platform. A worker can also maintain constant contact via preset and elective check-ins during this time.
The following procedure relates to initiating a session within the Solo Wearable app.
Prior to actioning this process, you will:
- Have completed the Register Watch procedure.
In this article you will learn about:
1. Access Solo Wearable app
This can be done in two ways, either directly from the Solo Watch Face (if installed) or from the watch location, you have selected for the app.
- Option 1 - Solo Wearable Watch face
- From the Solo Watch Face:
- Tap the green Start icon.
- Option 2 - Selected Watch Location
- Tap the Solo Wearable app Icon.
Result for both options: The Solo Wearable app landing page will display.
2. Start Session
This function allows the user access to the session profile list.
- Tap the Start zone.
3. Select Session Profile
This function allows the user to select the activity/job type that is about to be actioned.
- Scroll the session profile list select/tap the required profile type.
Result: The Solo session has been started and the session timer will display.
Important Note: Starting a Solo Wearable session will override an active Solo Mobile session and it is recommended that once you have Started the Wearable Session you End the Mobile Session. See - FAQ/Trouble Shooting.
