Damstra Safety (Formerly Vault Enterprise) - 09062021 Release - Gender Data

What’s changing?

On screens where you create or update a record for a person (worker, contracted worker, third party, student, visitor, etc):

1. The Sex field is changing to Gender.
2. The field will no longer have a default value (previously the default value was Male).
3. The available choices will be Male, Female and Unspecified.

The API used to create or update worker records has also been updated in line with these changes.

Why is it changing?

The change has been made so that customers are not forced to select Male or Female as the gender for their people.

When is it changing?

The release happened on Wednesday 9 June.
