Key changes
Safety/EPP Integration
- "Damstra ID" field added to Worker and Contractor Worker records for the purposes of EPP integration. The field is only visible in the instances of Safety integrated into the EPP.
The field is not editable in Safety and is populated automatically via the APIs.
- For instances of Safety integrated into the EPP, the data that is synchronised between Safety and EPP is locked from editing in Safety so that the EPP is the source of truth. This includes:
- In the Workers register, records cannot be added or deleted. Most of the data in the existing records can be viewed but not edited, as follows:
- Worker Details tab: all controls on the tab disabled except the Vault Check JSA Signoff checkbox.

Governance tab: all controls on the tab are disabled.

Inductions tab: all controls on the tab are disabled.

Licences tab: all controls on the tab are disabled.

Units of Measurement
An ability to switch between metric and imperial units of measurement has been added in Safety UI.
- In Settings > General > Options and Preferences, there is a new "Units of Measurements" settings with the options "Metric" and "Imperial".
Note that switching between the systems does not result in recalculations of any data entered in Safety, it only shows the respective unit labels in the UI.
- In Settings > General, there is a new register "Units of Measurement"
Units can be added, edited or archived (not deleted).
The list is used in the following places in Safety:
- Events > Environmental > Impact Sources
- Substances > Location of Storage
In Transport > Running Cost > Fuel Costs register, the column/field for the volume of the fuel is labelled either Litres or Gallons, depending on the system of measurements selected in Settings.
Custom Types for Emergency Equipment Facilities Review
In Settings > Risk, a new register has been added to maintain a list of Emergency Equipment Facilities Review Types. Items in the register can be added, edited or deleted.
The items from this register are used in the existing drop-down "Type" field of the Emergency Equipment Facilities Review register. Previously the list of available values for this drop-down was fixed.
If an item from the Settings > Risk > Emergency Equipment Facilities Review Types register has been used in one or more Emergency Equipment Facilities Review records, this Type cannot be deleted from Settings.
