In some cases, a report will have the same data on each row because it has numerous child records which are being displayed in the report, for example an event and it's corrective actions.
This will cause the event information to repeat for each corrective action that shows in the report. To prevent the event information from repeating on each row where there is a corrective action, follow the below method.
1. Go into 'Column Formatting'
Then select the applicable field from the Columns list on the left
Switch the toggle from grey to orange for 'Suppress Duplicates'.
Do this for each column where the data will be repeated on other rows.
After closing out of this you will now see a report looking similar to the one below.
Please note that a record will only be suppressed if the column to the left is also suppressed.
