Overview
There are several reasons why you may have trouble logging in.
The following Checks and resolutions will solve the problem 99% of the time - once each has been checked and actioning try logging in again.
- Using the Incorrect Password
This may seem obvious, but you may have typed in your password incorrectly?
To resolve:
- Try carefully typing in your password, check that you have Caps Lock turned off.
OR - Reset Password
- Has the worker's Employment been Ceased.
Has the employee record attached to the login had the Employment Ceased checkbox ticked?
This blocks a user from logging into Damstra Safety.
To resolve:
Check the employee record
Un-tick the Employment Ceased checkbox.
Then Save.
- Has the worker been Archived.
Has the employee record attached to the login been archived?
To resolve:
Search the worker register using the Show Archived People checkbox
Identify the required worker record.
Select Unarchive from the actions dropdown.
- Has the worker's Login has been deleted
Has the employee record attached to the login been deleted?
To resolve:
If this has happened you will need to recreate the login ensuring the correct employee record is attached.
- Reattach employee to login
The worker record may not be correctly attached to the user record.
To resolve:
Go through the process of finding and attaching the employee to the login.
