OVERVIEW
When a User (Inspector) carries out a planned or ad-hoc Check using Check Mobile App, he or she has the ability to create and assign an Action where required (e.g. a repair is required). This results in a Corrective Action being created in Damstra Safety.
Check Web Portal provides visibility and management of all Check-related Actions.

ACCESSING CHECK-RELATED ACTIONS REGISTER
To access the Check-related Actions Register, click Check > Actions in the Menu bar:

SEARCHING THE REGISTER
To search the Register for a particular Action or for a group of Actions that match particular criteria, enter identifying criteria (e.g. ID, Subject, etc.) into the Smart Search dialogue (Fig 1)
The Register will be filtered with each keystroke to only those items matching the entered criteria.
BROWSING THE REGISTER
To browse the contents of the Register, use the Show x Entries dialogue (Fig 2) to control how many items are displayed per page, and the page buttons (Fig 3) to go to the Previous or Next page, or to jump directly to a specific page number.
FILTERING THE REGISTER
The Register may be filtered to Actions that have been assigned to you or are of a particular Status by clicking the Filters button (Fig 4) and then clicking the relevant selection(s):
VIEWING AN ACTION
To view the details of an Action in the Register:
- Click Actions (Fig 5)
- Click View
Result: The Action Detail screen is displayed:
The details of the Action are set out in the View section, while a log of Status changes and updates is kept in the Actions Trail section.
REASSIGNING AN ACTION
To reassign an Action to a different User:
- Click Actions (Fig 5)
- Click Reassign
Result: The Reassign Accountable dialogue is displayed: - Browse or search for the person you would like to reassign the Action to
- then click Select.
UPDATING THE STATUS OF AN ACTION
In a normal workflow, the Status of an Action will be updated by the assigned responsible party. However, Status updates can be made from the Register, if required.
To do this:
- Click Actions (Fig 5)
- Click Update Status
Result: The Update Status dialogue is displayed: - Click the first field to select the new Status from the drop-down pick-list.
- Enter an update into the second field. Note that this will be pre-populated with either "Created" (where the current Status is Not Started) or the most recently-entered update.
- If there are any files relating to the Status update, drag and drop the file(s) or click to locate the file(s) on your computer. Vault will store a copy.
- Once all details have been entered, click Update
DELETING AN ACTION
To delete an Action from the Register:
- Click Actions (Fig 5)
- Click Delete
Result: The Delete dialogue is displayed: - Click Delete if you are sure you want to remove the Action, or Close to cancel.
EXPORTING THE REGISTER TO A SPREADSHEET OR PDF
To export the Register:
- Click Export to export as a Microsoft file (.xls) or Print to export as a PDF (Fig 6)
Result: The file will be downloaded and can now be opened in a compatible application.
