When working with reports in Damstra BI, we often need to join together data from two or more queries. For example, we might need to produce a report that shows the number of Events by Type that took place in one year, compared to the number that took place in another.
While there is more than one way to achieve this, Damstra BI features the ability to perform Sub Queries (with the initially-added query considered the Master Query) and join the output of both together within the same report.
The below video covers adding Basic Sub Queries, which use data from the same View (or Damstra Safety Module) as the Master. For help with Advanced Sub Queries, which involve adding data from across different Views, click here.
